Philippine Board of Emergency Care Physicians

The Philippine Board of Emergency Care Physicians (PBECP) was created as the academic arm of the Philippine Society of Emergency Care Physicians, Inc (PSECP) with the following objectives

1. To administer the annual diplomat specialty examination for eligible physicians

2. To certify eligible diplomats to be fellows of PBECP

3. To set-up program requirements for hospitals or medical centers intending to start an Emergency Medicine (EM) residency training

4. To standardize the residency training in EM in the country by accrediting hospitals or medical centers with EM residency training
